Product Overview
The SINOTRUK HOWO NX 6x4 Tipper Truck is purpose-built for mining and heavy quarry operations. Part of SINOTRUK's NX (New eXtreme) series, this truck features enhanced structural reinforcement and mining-specific components designed to withstand the most demanding hauling conditions.
At the heart of this mining tipper is the WEICHAI WP10.371E50 engine, a 9.726-liter inline 6-cylinder turbo diesel producing 371 HP at 1900 rpm and 1600 Nm of torque. The WP10 series engine features BOSCH high-pressure common rail fuel injection for precise fuel delivery and improved combustion efficiency.
The 20 cubic meter U-shape cargo box is manufactured from 20mm thick NM400 wear-resistant steel, specifically designed for mining applications. The U-shape profile prevents material sticking and enables faster, more complete unloading of wet clay, ore, and other sticky materials. The box features a 6mm thick front wall with impact-resistant design.
Mining-grade suspension features 12+9 heavy-duty leaf springs with reinforced spring brackets and shock absorbers on the front axle. The HC16 rear axle with wheel reduction provides maximum ground clearance and torque capacity for steep haul roads. Ground clearance of 380mm enables operation on rough terrain.
The NX cabin offers improved ergonomics with 4-point air suspension, adjustable steering column, and panoramic windshield for excellent visibility in pit operations. Optional roll-over protection system (ROPS) and falling object protection system (FOPS) are available for enhanced operator safety.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1What makes the NX series different from standard HOWO?
The NX (New eXtreme) series features mining-specific reinforcements including thicker cargo box steel (NM400 vs standard 18mm), heavier suspension components, wheel reduction axles for ground clearance, and enhanced cabin protection. These upgrades extend service life by 40-60% in mining conditions.
Q2Can the cargo box handle abrasive materials like iron ore?
Yes. The NM400 wear-resistant steel cargo box with 20mm thickness is specifically designed for highly abrasive materials. NM400 steel has a Brinell hardness of 400, providing approximately 3x longer service life compared to standard Q235 steel when hauling iron ore or quartzite.
Q3Is this truck suitable for high-altitude mining above 4000m?
For high-altitude operations above 4000m, we recommend specifying the高原 (plateau) package which includes a turbocharger with higher compression ratio, cold-start aids, and adjusted fuel injection mapping for thin air conditions. Please consult our sales team for specific altitude requirements.
Q4What is the recommended service interval for mining operations?
Under normal mining conditions, engine oil and filter changes every 250 hours, transmission oil every 1000 hours, and rear axle oil every 1000 hours. In extreme dust conditions, air filter service should be performed every 100 hours. Full maintenance schedule is provided with each delivery.
